Joanna Rowe (1828-1911)

Joanna Rowe married Thomas Dober in the Kooringa Church, Adelaide, South Australia, on the 29 Oct 1850, four years after Thomas's discharge from the 96th Foot Manchester Regiment in 1846.

They went on to have eight children before Thomas's untimely death on the 5 Jan 1867, at the age of 49.

The following year of 1868 Joanna at the age of 40, next married Thomas's younger brother, Richard Dober (was the first to enlist in the army at Chatham Headquarters on 31 July, 1840) at Whitehills (Bendigo). Richard and Joanna had one child, Rose Emmeline Dober.
